For years, we at eye Technologies, have been focused on bringing exciting touch-free interactions to digital devices, driving user experiences to a whole new level. As the era of Internet of Things (IOT) and Connected homes emerged, it became ever so clear that touch-free interactions are a must in the home, the place where simplicity and enjoyment matter most. We felt that the current Smart Home was far from being a Simple Home. Instead of multiple remote controls and confusing interfaces we believe that the key for a great user experience is a simple interface controlled in a fun and intuitive manner using touch-free gestures. What makes your product special? singlecue is simply one of its kind. We’ve combined our longstanding knowledge in machine vision along with our solid understanding of UX design to create a device that provides true simplicity to the interactions in your home. Bringing gesture re technology to the market is something we’ve been doing for a long time, but delivering a device that accurately tracks your finger and allows for a single gesture to instantly control your various devices at once, well…that was a challenge. The biggest hurdle we faced was designing a user interface that is just right. We knew we had to create a gesture language that is simple and intuitive, and what’s more intuitive to mute the volume than putting your index finger to your lips in a “shush” gesture? After designing and testing several interfaces and running endless usability tests we are glad to finally have made it the way we envisioned.
